Join the Columbus Youth Jazz big bands as they wrap up the spring semester with a concert at the Columbus Metropolitan Library!
Paul Loren is a man of many vocal stylings: from Sinatra to McCartney to his own original sound, his spring finale performance with the CJO is not to be missed. Part Rat Pack, part contemporary pop, Loren and the CJO will create a tour de force of your favorite vocal stylings from the 50s to the 70s and beyond. It’s all on the menu at the Loren Lounge.

Leave your expectations at the door: Columbus Jazz is headed to The Yard with a stripped-down, high-voltage night of improvisation led by Byron Stripling and the Columbus Jazz All Stars. With Dave Powers on keys, Bryan Olsheski on sax, Reggie Jackson on drums, and Josh Newburry on bass, this isn’t a setlist—it’s a creative collision.
Columbus Jazz Jam Sessions at Natalie’s are community-focused, curated events hosted by our Jazz Academy Faculty. Jazz musicians of all ages and experience levels are invited to participate in the jam. Or, come and enjoy a bite to eat and a beverage as an audience member and witness the spontaneity of the jam session—a staple of the jazz community.
