Introducing: Columbus Jazz

Greetings Friends–

If you’ve been part of the Jazz Arts Group story for a while, you know this organization has always been something special.

For more than 50 years, JAG has been built by people who care deeply—loyal supporters, extraordinary musicians, passionate educators, and a community that shows up again and again. Together, you’ve created something rare: world-class jazz right here in Columbus, with a reach that extends far beyond the stage.
Today, we’re excited to share the next step in that story.

Jazz Arts Group is now Columbus Jazz.

This new name and visual identity is simple, but meaningful. It reflects who we are: a vibrant, creative community rooted in Central Ohio that is open to all. It brings everything we do under one clear banner and makes it easier to share our story with new audiences, new students, and the next generation of jazz lovers. 

This rebrand also comes with a tagline: Together in Rhythm. It’s a short but powerful mantra, and declares that we are a source for everyone who plays, loves, learns, and supports this magnificent original American art form.
What hasn’t changed is what matters most: our commitment to incredible music, our belief in the power of education, and our respect for the legacy of jazz. And like any great piece of music, this new look builds on everything that came before.
