Come home for the holidays with the CJO. Byron and the band are back with the jazz favorites you know by heart and the joyful spirit you wait for all year. And in a very special feature, the great Bobby Floyd leads a heartfelt set from A Charlie Brown Christmas, bringing the timeless music of Vince Guaraldi to life. What’s more, a voice of the next generation has her CJO debut. Youth Jazz songbird Ani Olsheski is not to be missed and will have you saying you “knew her when.” Santa and Mrs. Claus join the festivities, adding a touch of magic for audiences of all ages. Nothing says the holidays in Columbus quite like this beloved swinging annual tradition.

THIS PROGRAM WILL BE 2 HOURS WITH AN INTERMISSION

Friday’s concert will feature a talkback immediately following the performance with the Maestro Byron Stripling himself.

Sunday’s concert is opened by a featured Columbus Youth Jazz performance at 2 p.m., support students in jazz and hear what the next generation is swingin’ into.
