A Day of Fun and Growth

Jazz Girls Day is a free educational event for girls, nonbinary youth in middle, high school, and college music programs, and all Ohio music educators. This action-packed event includes full ensemble sessions, sectionals, faculty performances, interactive jazz history talk, an improvisation masterclass, and a final performance and celebration. A local faculty representing all instruments will co-teach sessions alongside our guest teaching artist—to be announced!

  • Location: The Jazz Academy (fourth floor of the Lincoln Theatre, 769 E Long St)

  • All instruments and vocalists are welcome to attend—both traditional and non-traditional!

Music Educators

This event is certified for professional development, with participants receiving continuing education credits upon approval from your district. The schedule will include a special roundtable discussion for music educators.
